If I could, I would spend all nights in the fog. Until, of course, I see someone with a hook.

Earthquake marathon in Summer of 2005

Posted in General by Bes on Jun 16, 2005

Earthquake here……should I email, then blog or go….should I stay or go…..emailed…blogged…

now go!

[update] - 5:22 pm PST time [California, USA]

This is the 3rd earthquake to hit California in the last 5 days, less than a week, and this specific one today had a magnitude of 5.3. You are advised to always run and duck under a door instead of finishing or sending emails and posting on your sites about the ‘quakes when they are actually happening [writes note for self].

[/update]

[update] Yet another earthquake after the above one

Another earthquake hit Northern California around 11:22 pm last night. “Boy, we don’t wanna imagine how we could survive without these, would we?” 4 earthquakes this week alone to hit California, since Sunday. How much money do you think the re-release of “Earthquake” would make? Let’s all go rent that movie at Blockbuster if we live outside California, and watch it live if we live in California.

  2. Bes :

Another ‘quake hit one minute after your post</a>. 5 earthquakes [some being after-shocks] this week to hit Northern California.

  3. Realizing that earthquakes can hit your blog is good at The Reasoner :

[...] do most people in Northern California not worry too much about the frequent earthquakes? The reason is because most places in the Bay Area have buildings that can survive most [...]
