Hello, and welcome to my site called The Penguin Chronicles. People call me Bes Z. I currently live in California where I'm pursuing a Masters. I spend the days exploring nature and the people in this world. I read, write, observe, and take pictures mostly for this site and for some specific interests in life. I am a writer among other things, having written for some prominent sites including SitePoint in the past.
My main focus for work and my studies is culture and communication, and things related to these areas. My emphasis also revolves around technology. I watch a lot of movies, since surprisingly media is one of the things that I find interesting. You may see some prominent links to other sites; many of these people are friends I know in person, and others friends I know online. Some of the links point to web sites that I simply visit on a regular basis, because of the quality of the content on their sites.
